Laos is country with 50 ethnic group, each group has their mother tongue langue some are similar but some is different. It divide to 3 month language type as Tai Lao, Mon-Khme and Tibet but major people are speak Lao, and it our official language. In Laos, greetings are usually accompanied by the gesture known as a ‘nop’, which is the placing of two hands together in a prayer position at chest level.

Lao people are kind and respectful each other culture. people are dress strictly to cover knee and shoulder to entry official office and religion site as temple and museum, and always take show off when entry people home, temple and museum. Always not wear show much of body or bikini at public area, excepted waterfall and watering activity. 

Laos currency call Kip and short write as LAK, when you first come to Laos may spend sometime to understand Lao note, from 500LAK note to 100,000LAK note, many zero on note always make tourist confuse sometime. notice that Lao use 2 type of write number on the note as latin number and local number, number 1 of local is look like number 9 in latin so always observe. In Laos is widely accept 3 main currencies as LAK, Thai bath and USD. We recommend you to exchange small amount of LAK to pay due to many things are cost less than one dollar. Exchange shop now available at hotel and bank. You can withdraw money from ATM common charge 3%, only local currency. Pay by international card only except at tourist place such as hotel, big restaurant and some stores.

Lao food are became the most delicoiuse recipe that people should try. It always cook with fresh build flavor by numbers of herbs such as mint, lemon glass and others. If food is not spicy, it's not lao food and you can't get the true flavor of lao recipe. for those can't eat spicy food please always mention no spicy, don't say: No hot, hot refer to temperature is not for flavor of food, local waiter will make you food cold then serve to you. Lao people main dish on meal is sticky rice, every time we ask have you eat (breakfast, lunch, dinner) we said Kin Khao Leo Bor, mean have you eat rice yet?

There are plenty hotel in each tourist destination from north to souther Laos, hotel price range from 25USD  - 2000USD per night include breakfast, guesthouse from 10USD - 25USD per night without breakfast, hostel share room from 8USD - 15USD per bed.
