A Day Vientiane Discovering the 5 Dimensions of Laos
Today is a full day of exploring Laos DPR. The tour starts from your hotel at 8 am, where we'll begin by strolling through Vientiane's old quarter to learn about this central neutral city's significance during WWII. Next, we'll visit two remarkable temples, Thatluang stupa and Wat Sisaket. Our journey continues with a visit to the COPE center, followed by a delightful rice noodle lunch at a local restaurant.
Itinerary
Starting at 8 am, you'll have the opportunity to stroll through Vientiane's old quarter and learn about the city's significance during WWII. Your first stop is the Lao National Museum, also known as the museum dedicated to Kaisone Phomvihan, the first chairman and one of the founders of Laos PDR.
Afterwards, you'll visit two remarkable temples - Thatluang stupa and Wat Sisaket. Thatluang stupa is a stunning golden monument that holds great religious significance, while Wat Sisaket is known for its beautiful architecture and intricate murals.
Continuing your journey, you'll visit the COPE center. This center plays a crucial role in spreading awareness and providing support for victims of unexploded ordnance in Laos. It's a remarkable place that offers insights into the country's history and challenges.
