Itinerary 

Day 1: Luang Prabang - Nongkhiaw, afternoon caving tour (L/D)

Upon your arrival in Nongkhiaw, you'll check into a family homestay. In the late afternoon, you'll embark on a caving tour to Tham Phatoke, which was used as a hideout by the former governor during the war. This cave holds historical significance and offers an intriguing exploration opportunity. After the tour, you'll have dinner with the hosting family, enjoying a delicious meal as part of the cultural immersion experience. Overnight at Nongkhiaw as homestay.

Day 2: Full Day Nam Ou River Escape, boat trip and trekking, return to Nongkhiaw for overnight homestay (L)

On the second day, you'll enjoy a full-day adventure along the Nam Ou River. This escape will take you on a memorable boat trip, giving you the chance to admire the stunning scenery along the river. You'll also have the opportunity to engage in trekking activities, exploring the natural beauty of the area. In the evening, you'll return to Nongkhiaw and spend the night at the homestay.

Day 3: Morning climb up Phou Pha Deng, lunch as a picnic on top of the mountain - afternoon return to Luang Prabang (L)

On the third day, you'll start the morning with an exciting climb up Phou Pha Deng. This mountain offers breathtaking views and is a great spot for hiking enthusiasts. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at the top and take in the panoramic vistas surrounding you. In the afternoon, you'll return to Luang Prabang, ending your adventurous journey.
