How much of the route is on the road?
Less than most Laos itineraries. Where a river or a flight makes more sense than a long drive, we route that way and tell you why.
Can the itinerary be customised?
Entirely. These are private journeys — the published route is a starting point, not a fixed departure. Pacing, hotels and stops all move to fit you.
What fitness level does this need?
Comfortable on your feet for a few hours and getting in and out of boats. Nothing here is technical. Tell us about mobility needs and we will build around them.

When is the best time to travel this route?
