Luxury in Laos does not look like luxury elsewhere.
There are no chains here worth booking for the name. The country’s best rooms are small — twenty keys, thirty at most, often in a converted French residence or a timber house above the Mekong. What makes a journey here expensive to run is not marble. It is time, access, and the person walking beside you.
That is what you are paying for.
Every journey in this collection is private. No shared coaches, no fixed departures, no strangers on your itinerary. You travel with your own guide and your own driver, on your own clock.
Our longest routes run twelve days to four weeks. That length is deliberate. Laos rewards travellers who slow down — a two-week route lets you spend three nights in Luang Prabang instead of one, take the river rather than the road, and reach the south without rushing it.
Travellers who have done the obvious Southeast Asia routes and want the one that is still quiet. Couples and small parties, usually two to six people. People who would rather see four places properly than nine badly.
It suits you less if you are counting days against a checklist. Laos is not an efficient country to tick off, and we would rather tell you that now.
Tell us your dates and roughly what you want the trip to feel like. We draft a route within a day, send it to you to read, and refine it until it fits. Nothing is paid until you approve the itinerary.
